Wheeler is at best a No. 3 starter and can be maddenly inconsistent, but damn if I didn’t want to lose him…esp. to a major division rival. Word’s out too that Cole Hamels just a 1-year deal with of course…the Braves. Meanwhile, we’re still waiting on any major deal from the Mets. SMH.
