New York City Public Advocate Jumaane Williams urged Mets owner Steven Cohen to rename Citi Field over climate change concerns.
Citi Bank currently has the naming rights of the stadium with the Mets. Williams said that Cohen should consider terminating the contract with Citi Banks because of the bank’s support of fossil-fuel companies.
