Jets Trade Zach Wilson to the Broncos

22 Apr

Yeah, as much as I know that with such a tumultuous history Wilson had to go. But I still have mixed emotions about him leaving. Only because our starting QB is 40yo and played all of 4 snaps last year, so who knows how long he’ll last this season. In other words we really need a capable backup. And with 7 picks in this week’s NFL draft, we definitely need to get a capable QB.

Aaron Rodgers for Vice-President?!?

13 Mar

Of course, this is ridiculous. But then that’s what comes with the circus that is Aaron Rodgers, who should be laying low and getting himself 100 percent healthy so he can be ready for the upcoming 2024 Jets season. Especially after taking only 4 snaps last season before getting injured for the rest of the year. I mean, does Rodgers ever think about how it looks to the average Jets fan who sees him peddling in politics or feuding with comedians or doing interviews on Joe Rogan’s podcast, and wonders how much he prioritizes his job over whatever other shenanigans hes involved with? Probably not. And that’s a huge problem, especially when you’re paying the guy $40M a year.

Zach Wilson Just Had His Greatest Game as a Pro

11 Dec

No score going into the 2nd half and I figured the Texans would eventually get a couple of field goals or something to win the game. That’s how inept the Jets offense has been all season, after all no one expects them to score…not through their offense anyway. But damn if somebody didn’t spike all their drinks during halftime. I mean, 30 points!?! Against a good team!?! By an offense run by Zak Wilson and Nathaniel Hackett!?! Call me shocked to say the least.

Robert Saleh’s Refusal to Bench Zach Wilson Reminds Us of What an Inept Head Coach He Is

13 Nov

After their 16-12 loss to the Raiders this past weekend, the Jets are now 4-5 and 3rd in the AFC East. Zach Wilson has the lowest TD % in NFL history and leads the NFL in Q4 turnovers. Two of the Jets victory’s this season occurred through luck: a Bills team in week 1 that’s really underachieved so far in OT and of course, against a crippled Giants teams (again in OT) playing with their 3rd-string QB. The Jets are also one of the most penalized teams this year, their defense is carrying them and Wilson hasn’t shown any sign of growth. Yet, with all those factors Robert Saleh refuses to bench his inept QB..and like Josh McDaniels, some coaches are only meant to be coordinators.
