I’m aware that Clark just signed a new ESPN deal. And he’s certainly doing a great job at going viral and keeping his name in the news with all the fire’s he’s been starting lately, whether that’s with Tiki Barber or other sport pundits. But opining from the experience of being a former NFL player and just utterly failing to do your research and saying something stupid is another. Like calling Lamar Jackson the first “authentic” Black QB when past legends like Randall Cunningham, Michael Vick, Warren Moon, Patrick Mahomes and Doug Williams have played the game?!? Really Ryan, do better.

Ryan Clark Eviscerates Kimberly Martin’s Lame/Personal Attack on Cam Newton

I watch enough of ESPN’s “First Take” with Stephen A. Smith and co. and tell you that Kimberly Martin clearly doesn’t belong on TV. She clearly does little to no homework on topics, totally wings it through segments and is only there to provide eye candy. But dare to criticize her and you’ll be called ‘sexist’ or ‘racist’ (or both) by the usual politically-correct, name-calling heads who don’t offer much of anything else (but nonetheless get paid handsomely for it). Either way, good job by Ryan Clark here defending Cam Newton (a former NFL MVP) as way more than just a guy who wears funny hats on his podcast.
